Distributor Indie Rights Takes “Steele Wool” Film into Custody

Following the break-out success over the indie film “Steele Wool,” director Frank Cappello announced that the Los Angeles based Indie Rights company has picked up all the worldwide distribution rights to Frank Cappello’s 2019 STEELE WOOL.

The film premiered at The Golden Door International Film Festival in New Jersey where it won Best Picture and Best Director. It went on to win 6 more major awards in its festival run, including Best Actress for its star Cami Varela, a deaf actress in her feature starring debut.

The dark comedy was written and directed by Frank Cappello (Constantine, He Was A Quiet Man) and follows Daphne Wool, from abused housewife to hired assassin. She is supported in her adventure by long time friend Tony Steele, and Moses, an aging hitman who feels he’s met the woman of his dreams. Moses is played by Nicholas Ontiveros, son of famed latina actress Lupe Ontiveros (As Good as it Gets. Desperate Housewives.)

‘Indelible Quarks’ produced the film in Los Angeles with Frank Cappello and Cami Varelaat the helm.

Frank Cappello remarked, “I couldn’t be happier that Indie Rights is the one distributing Steele Wool. Linda and Michael have an amazing track record and their passion for indie films and their filmmakers is unquestionable. I can’t think of a better fit for our film.”

“We’re very excited to give this unique film the support it deserves. Frank has created a truly original adventure with a set of fresh characters that mainstream movies tend to ignore. Its future looks bright,” stated Linda Nelson.
